The New Hampshire Room

The New Hampshire Room is our local history room. It houses the Derry Collection, NH Collection, Historical Collection, Space Exploration Collection and Frost Collection. It houses publications, original manuscripts, one of a kind histories and booklets. Vital Statistics Index/Town Clerk

The Derry Public Library holds a vital statistics index compiled from town reports by library volunteer, Patrick Martin. To search the town reports or the index, you may visit the library or call 603-432-6140 for a quick look up. To order actual vital records, you must contact the Derry Town Clerk and follow their online/by mail record ordering procedure.

The Derry Museum of History

The mission of the Derry museum of History is to preserve and present the artifacts & stories of Derry, NH from the founding as Nutfield to Alan Shepard and beyond. The Derry History Museum is not affiliated with the library, but is owned by the town of Derry and operated by the Derry Heritage Commission and is a valuable historical resource and community partner. The museum holds more artifacts and objects while the library holds more records and manuscripts. The Derry Museum of History is located in the Adams Memorial Building, at 29 West Broadway, Derry, NH. Admission is free. Currently Closed. Phone: (603) 434-1247
