The Digital Derry Project
Digital Derry Project aims to digitize historic materials held in partnering institutions around Derry, in order to make them accessible to historians, genealogists, researchers, schools, community members and more. Partnering institutions include The Derry Public Library, The Derry Museum of History, The Historical Preservation Committee of the First Parish Congregational Church and the Taylor Library.
Historic Home Survey
The Town of Derry sponsored a survey of historic homes back in 1986. Photographs of homes and results from the survey are available online and in the New Hampshire Room. Search your historic home and then see the useful tips on house history research page.
Internet Archive
The Derry Public Library has an ongoing digitization project with the Internet Archive. From IA you can access local history items unique to Derry, including the Pamela Smart Lateral Files, MacMurphy Diaries, Historic Postcard Collection, Pinkerton Critic (1904-1941) Library Scrapbooks and AV files!
Newspapers Archives
This collection is a newspaper archive for Derry and the surrounding area from 1880-2016. It includes pages from The Derry News, Derry Enterprise, Salem Enterprise, Manchester Advertiser, Nutfield News and Derry Times. Microfilm is available for viewing in the New Hampshire Room.
Obituary Index
This is a searchable obituary index covering obituaries from the Derry News from 1880-1886, 1912 and 1915 through present. This index does not contain the actual obituaries, but it does tell you in which issue a particular obituary is published. (Updated monthly)

Downloadable PDFs of Derry Town Reports from 1858-2008. This website is maintained by the University of New Hampshire. The New Hampshire Room holds town reports from 1848-2004.
